Ok, now that I have managed some pics in reasonable light, I can show you my latest efforts with the bag hangers.
This latest hanger was inspired by the feature bead on the bottom.
A blue and green cloissone style bead. I took the blue, green and white colours from it and hunted through my stash to find matching shades.
I am happy with the overall effect of the colours together. Normally if I am putting blues and greens together I try to go for strong shades of each, so to deliberately choose more pastel shades is different for me.
The crystal flower 'bead' in the centre of the pic below is an ear ring which I converted into a bead. It is a stud and the mate had been lost. It was too pretty to just discard and I had been wondering how to incorporate it into this project as the colour was perfect.
I used a silver toned end cap and threaded the stud up through it. The overall effect is a lacy bell with a pretty bottom.
Here is my little hook in action. It is just blue tacked to the wall for easy removal. ;)
