Teen 3 bought a bottle of home colour for her hair. Since her hair is now very short she figured that it wouldn't take the entire bottle and wanted to find a suitable candidate for the rest of the colour.
Dad declined.
Teen 2 declined.
Mum declined.
Why was this one may ask?
... because the colour was PURPLE!!!
There wasn't much colour left over as it was a very thick mixture and had been applied generously to her hair.
"Mum you can totally rock a stripe or two of purple."
"No thanks, sweetie."
"Oh, but mum it would look good on you. ... and you can totally pull it off."
I must be a little crazy because I decided that I would let her have her fun. My hair is nearly due a cut and colour anyway so it wouldn't be there for very long. There isn't enough to do my entire head. What is the worst it could be?...

She was so excited and once the colour was in she declared me "COOL" !!!
My kids have called me many, many things but NEVER had I been declared cool. Cool and Mum just don't go together in a kid's mind. If only I knew all it took was to do something ridiculous...

Cool Dee:) The amazing thing about that last photo is how brilliantly green your eyes are.
When I saw the photo I was amazed at how it shows up my eyes. The colours are incredible - it looks phot-shopped but it isn't. My eyes in the pics taken just before I washed out the colour also look amazing.
I think it must have been the way the light was this morning. It was bright but not direct light.
I tried to edit one of the other photos but it lightened my skin even more. My eyes still 'popped' though.
